An old boss of mine used to describe our computers and phones as water and air. A computer network is like water – without it we will probably die in a few days, but without our air (telephones) we will perish in minutes. With all the available ways to maintain contact, the telephone is still the most important tool available to most businesses.

Partner ACS Time Change
Its Office Hero Time again!
This weekend it will be time to “fall back” and move our clocks back by one hour. This means that on Monday when you come into the office, the time on your Partner phones will be incorrect thus causing mass confusion and chaos.
But, never fear! The good people at Wholesale Telecom are here with some simple instructions to correct this – hopefully averting a potential office meltdown.
The following should be done from station #10 or 11 – there is typically a display phone located here.
Step 1
Press the following sequence – this will get you into the Time and Date program on the Partner ACS

Time and Date Change on Toshiba DK System
When you come into the office on Monday November 8th, you might notice the time on your telephone display is incorrect for Daylight Saving Time. Correcting this on a Toshiba DK280 or a Toshiba DK424 telephone system is a very simple process.
The following steps need to be completed from port 000, which is typically located at Extension 200. This is typically a receptionist station and has a display phone such as a DKT 2020SD
Step 1
With the Handset in the cradle
Press Intercom
Then #
Then 652
Step 2
Enter the time in 24 hour format –Hours, Minutes then Seconds
HH – MM – SS
Step 3
Press Redial
Hang up
That’s it! All of your display phones should now be showing the correct time and you get to be the office hero!
